What are the worship services like at Friendship?
Friendship offers three types of worship: traditional, contemporary and blended.
Traditional: Our traditional service starts at 8:20am in the Sanctuary. In this service, we worship God with choir music, the Apostle's Creed, and other traditional elements.
Contemporary: This upbeat service features the best of today's praise and worship music, songs that you may hear on the radio, original videos, and creative elements to enhance the worship experience. Casual in its atmosphere, the first service begins at 9:30 a.m. and is followed by an identical service at 11 a.m. It is held in the multi-purpose building.
Blended: If traditional isn't your thing, and you're still not up to contemporary our blended service may be just what you are looking for. Blended simply means a combination of traditional and contemporary. Our North campus hosts this service starting at 11am.
Our Beliefs:
We believe that God created the world, and that his son Jesus Christ is the Redeemer of creation. We believe in the Holy Spirit, through whom we acknowledge God’s gifts, and we repent of our sin in the misuse of these gifts.
We believe that everyone matters to God, and therefore everyone matters to the church.
To reach everyone we strive to be culturally relevant, and doctrinally pure. We want to meet people where they are in their everyday lives.
Our mission is to do whatever it takes to make disciples for Jesus Christ by helping people take their next step towards Christ... together.
We value prayer, creativity, friendliness, risk-taking, permission giving, small groups, tithing, and being friendly to the community.
We have high expectations of our members. We expect them to be loyal to Friendship, to be prayer partners, to attend worship consistently, to serve, to tithe, to be a witness, and to live up to the name Friendship.
