With arms wide-open! And, a smile!

     All are welcome to Friendship!  We love people because God created people and loved them big-time.   And, if we are
not friendly and welcoming we need to look seriously at changing our name.

     This is an exciting church to serve as pastor and I feel privileged God has given me this responsibility.   We are a
diverse congregation from all kinds of backgrounds and all types of places.  We sense a special outpouring of God's
Spirit upon us as we seek to make disciples for Jesus Christ.  Our vision: as a community of faith to 'Be a bold witness,'
to 'Be An Oasis for Healing,' and to 'Invest our lives for kingdom purposes.'  Our primary mission field is Limestone
County.  Our strategy is to reach at least 3% of our 70,000 citizens, helping make them disciples.   We also have a
world-wide outreach to places like Russia, Rwanda, India, and Costa Rica.

     As we've grown these past years we believe that to whom much is given, much is required.  Still: "the best is yet to
be."  God is sending us the right people at the right times to do His bidding here.   If you haven't, I hope you will make
