Quality Care
It is our desire to partner with parents to build a strong spiritual foundation
for your child. Our goal is to provide a safe, Christ-centered environment
where each child is encouraged to grow spiritually through age-
appropriate activities.

On Sunday mornings, we use monthly themed activities to teach each child
what he or she can learn about God's love and simple Bible truths. We
teach using songs, finger plays, stories, and active play. These experiences
help build a foundation for faith in the perfect Father who loves His little ones.

We seek to provide an atmosphere where children feel loved and nurtured.
We are happy to give bottles, change diapers, help with potty training,
cuddle, read to, play with, and love the children in our care.

Nursery Caregivers
Our caregivers take on these responsibilities knowing that the nursery is one
of the first places God's love can be shown to your child. All classes are
staffedby adults at least 18 years of age. All staff and volunteers go through
a simple screening process before working in the nursery. Parents whose
children attend the nursery on a regular basis are asked to volunteer as
well.

Sanitary Care
The health and well-being of your child is important to us. All toys used in
the nursery are carefully chosen to eliminate any chance of injury. Our
nursery is cleaned several times a week, after each ministry event. Crib
sheets and blankets are changed and washed after each use. Cribs,
swings, changing tables, and all toys are also cleaned after each use.

Health Care Policies
Children (and staff) with the following symptoms within the last 24 hours
should not be in the nursery: fever of 100 degrees or above (taken orally),
vomiting, diarrhea, yellow or green nasal discharge, excessive coughing,
rashes not related to diapering, heat or allergic reaction (unless a note from
a physician is provided), and/or less than 24 hours on an antibiotic after an
infection diagnosis. Children recovering from the chicken pox may return to
the nursery provided all open sores are scabbed.

No prescription or non-prescription medications are given by the nursery
staff except for diaper rash ointment. This is applied only if provided by the
parents along with specific instructions for its use.
Drop-off and Pick-up
When entering the nursery, please
complete the sign in/out sheet
indicating where you will be and any
special instructions. You will be given
a numbered vibrating pager corres-
ponding to your child. This pager acts
as your claim check for your child. No
one will be allowed to pick-up your
child without this pager. We will use
this pager to notify you during services
if needed.

Our nursery staff will take your child
and any personal belongings to the
appropriate room. Please tell your
child good-bye when leaving him or
her and exit the nursery. It is common
for children of these ages to experi-
ence separation anxiety and cry when
you leave. Normally, the child will calm
down in a few minutes. If your child
continues to be upset for more than
10 minutes (or sooner by parent re-
quest), we will page you. It is import-
ant that you have the pager next to
your body and not in a bag.

When you arrive to get your child,
simply sign-out and return the pager.
We will bring your child and any per-
sonal belongings to you.
