Women at Friendship
It's not easy being a mom, a wife, a workplace leader, and all-around Godly woman. Friendship offers core groups for women whose responsibilities and ministries start in their homes and extend through their neighborhood, their workplace, and around the world.
Mercy Triumphs: The Book of James - Beth Moore
James, Jesus' own brother, started out as a skeptic, but one glimpse of the resurrected Savior turned an unbeliever into a disciple. By walking through the book he wrote, you can explore topics of joy, hardship, faith, reversal of fortunes for rich and poor, wisdom, gifts from above, single-mindedness, the dangers of the tongue, humility, and prayer.
Monday, January 23rd - Monday March 12. 6:30 - 8:15 PM

Made to Crave: Satisfying Your Deepest Desire With God, Not Food
Craving isn't a bad thing, but food can become more about frustration than fulfillment. Made to Crave is the missing link between a woman's desire to be healthy and the spiritual empowerment necessary to make that happen. Author Lysa TerKeurst personally understands the battle that women face. In Made to Crave, she shows how to break the cycle of "I'll start again on Monday," reach your health goals, and grow closer to God through the process.
Made to Crave is not a dieting plan, but is helpful alongside whatever healthy eating approach you choose. Conveniently scheduled on Wednesday mornings from 9:30 – 11:30, this group, book, and Bible study for women is lead by Christy Martin. It will help you find the "want to" in how to make healthy lifestyle changes.
Starts Wednesday February 8. Childcare provided. There is a small cost for materials, but we have a limited number of scholarships available if money is an issue. For more information, contact women@friendshipumc.org or call the church office.
